Church ministry’s “final product” is “TRANSFORMED PEOPLE” (Col. 1:28). God is interested in transforming people into His likeness. As a church, we are committed to helping each person discover their place in serving the community.
CYAM intends to create an environment that helps young adults to mature in their Christian faith, arming them with a solid Christian education which will allow them to persevere through life's daily obstacles.
Deacons want to make certain that every member and family in the church experiences the love and support of the whole congregation. Deacons join the pastor and church staff in ministering to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of each church member and family. Resident church families are divided into groups of ten or more families. Each group of families is then assigned to a Deacon and Nurturer who will minister to them over a period of time.
The Grateful Ones is a coed ministry at First Northeast Baptist Church, which consists of a group of Bible-Believing Christians, 55 years of age or older. Our ministry seeks to be a Biblical ministry designed to encourage life transformation through our threefold purpose: to Evangelize, Edify and Equip the whole person, including our youth and children, and to serve the community and reach the world through Jesus Christ.
The Grief Support Ministry is a biblically based ministry of grief recovery and support for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Grief support groups and workshops are held to help those who are grieving find comfort, hope, encouragement, and support in the midst of their grief, and to help them begin to see the hand of God working in their lives as they travel their grief journey.
The health ministry promotes healthy lifestyles, healing, and integrated wholeness of the body, mind and spirit of the earthly body—The Temple of the Holy Spirit – through health education.
It is the mission of the Information Resource Ministry to support the mission and objectives of FNEBC, its ministries and administrative staff, through the use of enhanced communication and technology.
The kitchen/hospitality ministry prepares and serves food to members and people in the community in support of the church and the outreach ministries of mercies and compassion to the glory of God.
Designed with married and engaged couples in mind, the marriage enrichment ministry desires to provide a platform where all can come and learn how to nurture marital relationships.
The media ministry ensures that the technology during Worship and other activities enhances the programs and mission of First Northeast.
The objective of the Men’s Ministry is to disciple and equip men in their roles as men of God, whether married, single, older or younger. The ministry provides a venue for modeling the life of Christ to men through teaching, fellowship, and service. Opportunities are provided for fostering spiritual friendships and developing disciple relationships, so that men can grow in conformity to Christ, specifically in their roles as men.
The primary roles of the Next Steps Team are to assist members and friends discover their spiritual gifts by (1) Confess sin and believe in Christ, (2) Insist in baptisms as they are an outward expression of the one true love for Christ, (3) Join our faith family of ONE, (4) Join a ministry or missions team, and/or (5) Answer a call to ministry.
The focus of outreach and missions is to ensure and promote FNEBC as a spiritually well church where worshipping, evangelizing, learning and loving is paramount.
Pastoral support ministry supports and uplift the under shepherd and his family – support to include spiritual, moral, financial, and emotional. The ministry assists as needed with baptisms and other special activities.
The prayer ministry mobilizes the church to become a house of prayer. God desires that prayer be at the heart of all that the church is and does. It is our desire that "men in every place should pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting". 1 Timothy 2:8
The safety committee oversee the development and implementation of policies and guidelines to provide our church family a safe place to worship.
Sunday school ministry teaches men, women and children in our care the life changing principles of God’s Word.
The transportation ministry’s purpose is to provide transportation for members and non-members for services and programs.
Trustees function as Christian stewards of property God has entrusted to the congregation. This includes managing the church's physical property, financial obligations and all other assets.
VBS alone has the potential to reach more children than any other single ministry event. The purpose of VBS is to impact children’s lives and the lives of their families with the Gospel!
The Welcome Team Ministry mission is to (1) Welcome everyone onto our campus into worship, (2) Safely and correctly lead everyone to their desired place, (3) Provide clear instructions for moving on campus, and (4) Make everyone feel cared for and cared about.
The Parking Ministry exists to make FNEBC a safer, more convenient place for people to fellowship and visit. Their responsibilities include managing the flow of traffic by ushering cars into spaces in a safe and feasible manner and protecting the safety of pedestrians. This ministry is the first to extend a warm, friendly greeting. This ministry is under the umbrella of The Welcome Ministry and works as a team.
The Women’s Ministry mission is to minister to the spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs of women in our church and the community.
The youth ministry strives to model Christ and God’s love for each child. Its aim is to provide safe, stimulating, God-centered care for children from birth to age 18.
